The VP2EGR QSL Cards are there. All OQRS requests are answered. All the letters and all bureau QSL cards we have received to 24 December 2016 are now answered.

We returned very well back in Berlin. We had dismantled the last antennas after the thundertrstorm on Monday. Everything was wet and and we had to dry it before packing. At 1100 we went back to the ferry where we met our landlord and his wife to say thank you and good bye. Back to the airport in Saint Maarten taking the Air France flight with a stop in Paris and back to Berlin.
Our very special thank you goes to Teddy VP2ETE and Keith VP2EKG for their outstanding support as well as Doris who took care of our house. We have gathered some new experience with new equipment especially the 110 V power supplies. The equipment ran very well.
We take care of printing the QSL cards these days and will announce it here on this page once the cards are printed. Please refrain from asking "where is my QSL" before that. Please use our OQRS for direct and bureau QSL requests. We do not need your card.

We went QRT today after 25509 QSOs and took down the last antennas. Thanks to everybody calling us and we hope we could provide you one or the other new band point or mode. 73 from the team.

Last night was running well on 160m. We have spent a long time on topband until 06 UTC when a broadband interfering signal came up with S7. We continued on 40m with an approaching thunderstorm. That one was so fierce that we had to switch off the radios. We then had two power breakdowns. Power was back around 10 UTC to try JA on 160m. Negative, nothing to hear. We keep on trying 160.

Everything is running well here. Last weekend has been intermingled. The CQWW Phone Contest on one hand and the thunderstorms on the other hand. We have had thunderstorms at noon and at midnight. The QRN after the thunderstorms is unbearable when we continue to be on the radios afterwards. We have also had a power breakdown for an hour at midnight and the temperatures rise quickly in our house without A/C.
The antennas we are using are a vertical for 160m/80m, loops for each 30m und 40m, a
Spiderbeam and a
Quad for 15m. The all play very well.
It's difficult to work JA and East Asia from here. We keep on trying despite the very poor conditions.

We never thought that everything would work out so well with the arrival. However, we had to pay 300 Euros for oversized baggage at Berlin airport. But we expected that. We had one stop in Amsterdam before we arrived in Saint Maarten at 10:55 local time. Entry was no problem. Then we went by ferry boat to Sint Marten and handled all the formalities within 25 minutes. Then we arrived at Blowing Point Ferry Terminal and headed to Anguilla. Our rental car was also ready. Keys in the glove compartment. Everything great so far.
When arriving at Hasu we were welcomed with a fruit snack. A small instruction followed and we went to the supermarket in the capital. After the return the antennas were built (as far as possible) into the dark. The power supply was inspected and the grounding seems to be solid as well. Only the 30 m loop could be finished. Sigi made the first 30 QSOs and the K2 and OX1000 work fine. We changed operators from time to time and logged a thousand QSOs on 30.
